Featured Soloist: Alex Ispa-Cowan, Electric Guitar

Alex Ispa-Cowan

We are thrilled to feature local guitarist Alex Ispa-Cowan as soloist in James Bonney’s Chaos Theory: Concerto for Electric Guitar and Wind Orchestra.

Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, Alex began playing guitar at age 13 and later earned a degree in Guitar Performance from Berklee College of Music. He has performed professionally in Chicago, Santa Barbara, and Seattle, with a style rooted in jazz and improvisation. Now based in Puyallup, Alex balances fatherhood, performance, and a career as a software engineer.

Alex will perform all three movements of Chaos Theory, an electrifying concerto blending progressive rock intensity with classical sophistication.
