Chaiya Odle is a senior at Graham-Kapowsin High School, where she plays in the Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Percussion ensemble. She began playing percussion her freshman year and has studied with Bobby Odle, Storm Benjamin, Geoff Smith, and Dr. Miho Takekawa. She has been a member of the South Sound Symphonic Band since 2014.

Chaiya has represented the Mountain Region at the State Solo and Ensemble Contest each year of high school. She has competed in all six percussion categories receiving superior rations in each of her 15 performances; placing second in timpani in 2015, 3rd in small percussion in 2016, and winning the timpani room in 2017. Additionally, she performed with the All State Wind Ensemble 2016, the All State Symphony Orchestra in 2017, and the Western International Honor Band Clinic each year of high school.

Chaiya developed a passion for both teaching and performing during her time at Graham-Kapowsin High School. She has taken an active role in leading the percussion ensemble class and also gives private lessons outside of school. She will be attending Central Washington University and pursuing a degree in Percussion Performance and Music Education. While there, she will be teaching at A.C. Davis High School for Front Ensemble.
